Couchsurfer’s Stories
We have the impression that many people are skeptical of the Couchsurfing idea. In these short interviews, we try to show that couchsurfer’s are mostly normal people and that it’s actually a brilliant idea.

WHAT’S THE HARDEST COUNTRY TO TRAVEL IN?

People are rude and we didn’t feel welcome at all.
Dani: Cape Town, South Africa. Same reason:
didn’t feel welcome and it was hard to communicate with people.
BEST TRAVEL TIP:
Caro: Talk to people 🙂
Dani: Don’t forget your charger!
SOMEWHERE EVERYBODY SHOULD GO:
Caro: Brazil, of course!
Dani: Iceland. Magical country!
SHARE A MEMORABLE MOMENT WITH US:
Caro: Couchsurfing for the first time here in Oslo!
It’s definitely a moment to remember, only for good reasons.
Dani: Moments of solo traveling. When you’re all by yourself and
suddenly get a feeling of being in contact with yourself and the world.
The best moments in life are when you’re in a place you like with people you like. – Carolina (22)
BEST MOMENTS IN LIFE ARE WHEN…
Caro: You’re in a place you like with people you like.
Dani: When you achieve something you’ve worked hard for
and celebrate it with a beer (or two) and good friends. #thatfeeling
WHY DO YOU TRAVEL?
We travel because we love to learn about other cultures, languages and the way people live their daily life. We want to experience different nature and other cities, as well as supermarkets! The best about travelling is the people you meet and how it changes you for the better. You grow a lot.
Couchsurfing
HOW MANY TIMES?
Caro: This is my first time!
Dani: And this is my second!
WHY COUCHSURFING?
We wanted to explore this way of traveling because it’s a
free way of exploring the world. You get into the local life where you see,
do and learn things you never experience if you stay at hotels.
IF YOU COULD BE AN ANIMAL…
Caro: I would be a koala! They are so relaxed.
Dani: Hm.. A bird. Maybe an eagle? They are so free.
