Haze season is very much here.

September turned into October in this hot and hazy concrete jungle,
but it was a little too hot and hazy (and expensive!) for us.

So, after spending 3 hours finding some place to sleep
(got no answer from our couchsurfer host and had no bookings…),
we explored the city a little bit, and before exploring some more,
we bought tickets to the other end of the Malaysian peninsula:
Langkawi! 🙂

But first:
